Sita is a professional dance teacher specialized in Oriental Bellydance and Argentinian Tango. After dancing for a long time in Argentina, she came back in the Netherlands and taught many lessons in The Hague and many workshops in Amsterdam with Rob Nuijten (Torito).
Then, she discovered Bellydance in the dryest desert on earth, in Northern Chile!. Later she took classes from: Aziza, Orit Mafstir, Randa Kamal,Tamalyn Dhallal, Sherlyn Koh, Raqia Hassan, Jilliane, Bozenka and many more.
As a solo artist she performs at festivals, theatres, television, parties and events in the Netherlands and abroad. e.g. Argentina, Chile, India, Malaysia, Spain, Italy
Sita is famous for her fusions, in 2006 she performed in "Tango Meets Flamenco"with a solo Tango part. In 2007 she was main artist in the ColourDance festival in Amsterdam. In 2009 she was invited to perform Tango bellyfusion at the Kuala Lumpur Festival. This year Sita was main artist at the New Years China festival in Amsterdam.
A few times she appeared on television with her very popular clases, at KRO, EO and AT5. Currently Sita is an international bellydance artist and runs her own dance & language company. She works in cooporation with Swinglatino.
